Julia Clayton-Eke - Mummas and Beans Dorking Antenatal Class Owner/Teacher
Hi, I’m Julia, mum to three lively children (boys aged 11 & 10 and a girl aged 6).
I attended antenatal and postnatal groups and courses (including baby massage and baby yoga) after the birth of my children. These were very helpful to myself and my babies in those early days and I was lucky to meet some other great mums and dads that I still meet up with now. I am now keen to help and support other new mums and dads on this special journey which can often feel very overwhelming.
Having qualified in and practised Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology for over 20 years, I am excited about expanding my experience by joining the Mummas and Beans group and teaching a wave of new parents the delights of baby massage, baby yoga and sensory sessions. I look forward to welcoming you to Mummas and Beans Dorking and Reigate.
Anna McInerney - Dorking Baby Class Owner/Teacher
I'm Anna: mum to Leo, yoga teacher, passionate advocate of women's rights and, now, delighted member of the Mummas and Beans teaching network.
My specific interest in prenatal and postnatal welfare began whilst I was pregnant with Leo. My own experience was that there was a lot of conflicting and often judgmental advice given to parents-to-be, leading to feelings of uncertainty and insecurity at a time when you need to feel empowered and supported in your decisions. Amongst some of the negative experiences, however, a few very wonderful people positively affected my and my husband's experiences for the better, enabling us to cope when things didn't go to plan. Since then, I have been striving to be one of those positive influences on the lives of other new parents and parents-to-be. By joining the Mummas and Beans team, I hope I can give support and strength to others through informed, impartial guidance at a time when they need it most.
I will be teaching a full programme of Mummas antenatal classes in the Dorking/Reigate area.
